At a cost of millions, the Pro-life movement has developed a solid foundation of support and information for women who want to save their babies from abortion.

This foundation includes:

170 Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs) in California have been established at an estimated cost of $68 million with operating budgets of about $85 million. These PRCs provide free services to women with unintended pregnancies including:

  • Pregnancy testing
  • Ultrasounds
  • Abortion pill countering
  • Referrals for medical care
  • Testing for sexually transmitted diseases
  • Care for a newborn baby
  • Baby supplies and furniture
  • Managing a home and finances
  • Referrals to a wide variety of community support systems
  • Hand holding, and much more.

In the U.S., Heartbeat International, and CareNet are large, well-funded 501c3s that have invested millions to establish and support PRCs with:

  • Training
  • Organization
  • Marketing
  • Financial and legal needs
  • Methods of Funding

At an annual cost of hundreds of thousands, Heartbeat International operates a 24/7 Hotline throughout the world that is staffed by professionals to help women who want to reverse the first abortion pill and/or provide other information about abortion and the alternatives.

APR Initiative will make this information about these resources available so that when a woman has the need she can readily connect to the appropriate resource.

Rosanna Barr

“Chemical abortion is an abortion, and it is an incredibly terrifying, isolating, and painful experience, It was a violent, unnatural pain.”

Leslie, told to Live Action

“As a Church, our responsibility is to surround with love those that might be in a difficult pregnancy and help them choose life.”
