The Abortion Pill

“No one will ever know. This is safe. This is easy. They told me so.
This will give me my future back.”

She wanted to believe all that. Hours later, reality proved otherwise. No one told her that:

• She would not necessarily be examined by a doctor
• The first pill destabilizes the endometrium to stop the flow of nutrients to the embryo causing death in two days
• There is a safe countering procedure available. Instead, she was told she had to take the second pill
• She would have excruciating cramps, stronger than menstrual cramps
• Cramps and blood loss have been reported to last up to 8 weeks
• Thousands have serious complications
• Emergency room visits are common due to complications from pain and blood loss due to infection from baby parts retained in the uterus
• The embryo, a tiny human person, is sometimes passed, intact from head to toe, and when visualized can cause emotional trauma
• No one explained she’d deliver,  her baby, into the sewage system
• The abortion would impact her life forever (see ABORTION IS HARMFUL)
• Deaths have occurred  due to infection and blood loss
• She never felt more alone. Scared. Wounded

This is mail-ordered abortion. This murderous drug is what the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the agency that is supposed to safeguard the health of U.S. citizens, allows and promotes. The FDA acted lawlessly it illegally approved dangerous chemical abortion drugs and evaded its legal responsibility to answer the American people’s questions for two decades.

The abortion pill is additionally dangerous for the pregnant mother. Studies show that 1 in 5 women experience an adverse event following a chemical abortion, the rate of complications for chemical abortions is four times higher than surgical abortions, and they require follow-up surgical abortion in 3-8% of cases. This type of abortion takes much longer and involves more bleeding and pain, and complications increase exponentially with the baby’s increasing gestational age.

The Courts have recently recognized that the abortion pill is dangerous and have rolled back FDA’s reckless mail-order abortion scheme. The FDA ignored science and placed politics over the safety of women and girls, as well as the lives of countless unborn children.

This is what the abortion industry is selling, “Telehealth”, the killing of preborn babies and causing a lifetime of serious harm to a woman’s physical and emotional health.
